Your clinician assesses facial proportions and anatomy before any filler is placed. Treatment is planned strategically to enhance your natural facial balance.

Topical Anaesthesia

A topical anaesthetic cream is applied 20–30 minutes before treatment, and most hyaluronic acid products contain lidocaine for additional comfort during injection.

Precise Placement

Filler is placed using fine needles or soft cannulas depending on the treatment area. Results are visible immediately — final results settle beautifully at 1–2 weeks.

Your Treatment Journey

Before

Avoid blood-thinning medications, supplements and alcohol for 48 hours. Arrive makeup-free.

During

Topical anaesthetic is applied. Fine needles or cannulas are used — discomfort is minimal. Most treatments take 20–45 minutes.

After

Mild swelling and potential bruising for 24–72 hours. Avoid intense heat, exercise and alcohol for 24 hours. Sleep elevated if treating the lips or cheeks.

Results

Immediately visible. Lips may appear fuller initially due to swelling — final results are best assessed at 2 weeks.

Longevity

6–12 months for lips; up to 18 months for cheeks and jawline. Longevity varies by area, product used and individual metabolism.

Are dermal fillers reversible?

Yes — hyaluronic acid fillers can be dissolved with hyaluronidase enzyme if you are unhappy with results. This is one of the key safety advantages of HA-based products over permanent or semi-permanent fillers.

Which filler areas are most popular?

Lips, tear trough, cheeks and jawline are our most requested areas. We assess each patient individually and will only recommend treatment where it genuinely benefits your facial balance.

Will filler make me look different?

When performed correctly, filler should make you look like a refreshed and more rested version of yourself. You should not look dramatically different — our philosophy is always enhancement, not alteration.

How long do dermal fillers last?

This varies by area and product: lips typically 6–9 months, cheeks 12–18 months, and tear trough up to 18 months. Individual metabolism also plays a role.

Is there downtime?

Minimal. Mild swelling and potential bruising for 24–72 hours. Most patients return to normal activities the same day.

Can dermal fillers and anti-wrinkle injections be done together?

Yes — and this is often the most effective approach. Anti-wrinkle injections address muscle-related lines; fillers address volume loss and structure. Together they create a comprehensive result.

What products do you use?

Are there risks?

As with any medical procedure, risks exist. Common: mild swelling and bruising. Rare: asymmetry, infection or delayed swelling. Very rare but serious: vascular occlusion — this is why treatment by a medically qualified clinician is essential.
